<< Introduction >>

  Cinema Craft Encoder Basic is a software that converts AVI and QuickTime
  files into MPEG-2 or MPEG-1 format.

  Cinema Craft Encoder Basic comprises standalone program and Adobe
  Premiere plug-in program. Both are included in the setup program.

<< Operation Environment >>

  The following hardware and software are required to use Cinema Craft
  Encoder Basic.

  - A processor that supports SSE or Enhanced 3D Now !
  - 256MB RAM or more
  - Microsoft Windows XP, 2000, Windows NT 4.0 SP6 or Windows 98/Me
  - Adobe Premiere 6.0/6.5 or Adobe Premiere Pro/Pro1.5/Pro2.0 for Plug-in version
  - QuickTime 6 (or later) to encode QuickTime files

  * Before installing on Windows NT 4.0, please install Internet Explorer
    5.0 or later.

  If license key is not registered, the following limitations
  are applied.

  1. The duration of output MPEG is limited to 3 minutes.

  2. The program expires after 30 days from installation date.

  Please refer to the User's Guide attached with the program.

  Adobe Reader is required to read the User's Guide. It is available
  at the the site of Adobe Systems Incorporated below.

<< Installation >>

  1. Please setup Adobe Premiere in advance before the installation of
     plug-in version.

  2. Start cceb270.exe, and follow the instructions.

  * From command line prompt, you can run the setup program in English
    with -en option on Japanese OS.

<< Uninstallation >>

  1. Click Start button on the task bar, and select Settings | Control Panel.

  2. Start "Add/Remove Programs" applet.

  3. Select "Cinema Craft Encoder Basic" or "Cinema Craft Encoder Basic for
     Adobe Premiere" from the list box in the "Install/Uninstall" page,
     and click the "Add/Remove" button.
